If Horses Could Talk by Bill Nebeker

Sculptor Bill Nebeker created a piece to be presented at the Cowboy Artists of America Show titled “If Horses Could Talk”. This sculpture appealed to so many that the limited edition sold out that night.

Commissioned by the Prescott Area Art Trust, Bill is creating this larger-than-life bronze statue of the popular sculpture and when complete will be installed at a Highway 89 roundabout at the Northern entrance to the City of Prescott.

Arizona public monuments are nothing new to Nebeker as this will be his fourth enlargement and second that is in his hometown of Prescott.

Bronzesmith Fine Art Foundry and Gallery of Prescott Valley, AZ has the honor to work with the longest living active member of the Cowboy Artists of America, Bill Nebeker.

The sculpture has been enlarged in Styrofoam and is currently being re-worked by Bill before adding the clay which he will complete his final details on.

The piece will then be sectioned off and molded, cast in bronze using the “lost wax” process, welded back together and finally patinaed. All of that takes over a year to complete.
