Pahponee is a self taught Artist who has been working in multiple mediums since 1982.

Her name is given to her through Native American Tradition from the Elders of her Kickapoo Tribe.

Pahponee is an ancient name from the Algonquin language of the Northeastern Great Lakes and translates into Snow Woman.

Pahponee creates vessels in Clay, then selects specific designs which she feels will best translate the spirit of her work, to be molded and produced into Limited Edition Bronze.

Her inspiration comes from the natural world and from the history and life ways of her tribe.

Her numerous award winning designs have graced the covers of Fine Art magazines, is archived by Museums and by acquisition in Private Collections.

Pahponee’s Art is influential in preserving Tradition and defining Contemporary style in the Native American Industry today.
