Morris-Tank, Wendy
Wendy was born in Long Island, New York in 1964, and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona with her family in 1970. At age eight she acquired her first horse, and her journey with a lifetime of owning, breeding, raising and training horses began. Her passion, devotion and drive to study horses mentally and emotionally inspired her artwork, and the unique style she developed came from the perspective of a horseman.
While she loves all breeds, she’s motivated by the beauty of the Arabian and the majesty of the Friesian Horse, and her resulting works have earned her the accomplishments of Mural Artist for the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show for over eighteen years, more than twelve years of the Scottsdale Arabian Show Championship jacket design for Schneider’s, and countless painting commissions for prestigious clientele.
In 2014, Wendy was intrigued by sculpture, and began creating in bronze medium. In just two short but busy years, Wendy has created and sold over twelve bronze commissions and created the prestigious trophy sculpture for the National Breeders Finals in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Each year Wendy looks forward to creating exciting original works to display at the prestigious Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, and can be found ringside with new artwork, ready to discuss your own custom piece. She feels blessed for her family, married to husband Marc of 25+ years, and wonderful sons Wesley and Wyatt, all currently living in Cave Creek Arizona on their Friesian horse farm.
